An incredibly big thank you
We wanted to write to you to say an incredibly big thank you on behalf of FOLBA and Lady Bankes Primary School for your extremely kind donation for our summer raffle. The family season ticket is our main prize and always draws a huge interest from in school and the wider community allowing us to expand and raise more than we ever think possible. Thanks to your amazing generosity and support we have been able to fund an outdoor gym aimed specifically at primary school aged children. It has been an absolute hit with all the children. Through your support, we are able to fund raise to support our school with vital equipment, resources and enriching the education for all the children which school budgets can no longer manage. Thank you again and we welcome you to come along and visit the school any time to see how your brilliantly your generosity and support is put to good use.

Bringing Families Together Through Football: The Impact of the Wealdstone FC Ticket Scheme
The partnership between Wealdstone FC and Meadow High School has created something truly special — a shared experience that brings families together, promotes inclusion, and strengthens our wider community. For many of our families, attending a Wealdstone game is more than just a day out — it’s a chance to enjoy quality time together in a welcoming, inclusive environment. These tickets open the door to live sport in a way that is accessible and inviting for all, including those who may not typically feel comfortable in busy or mainstream settings. What makes this scheme so powerful is the opportunity it gives our young people and their families to feel part of something bigger — to come together, be seen, and feel celebrated. The atmosphere at the ground is one of warmth, respect, and genuine community spirit. It’s an experience that many tell us they will never forget. We’re proud to be part of this initiative with Wealdstone FC. It’s a shining example of how inclusive opportunities, thoughtfully offered, can build confidence, deepen connections, and bring real joy to the families we support.

Schools Project
“Lady Bankes Primary School has been thoroughly enjoying working with Wealdstone FC for the last seven years. During this time, the children in Year 3 have had the fantastic opportunity to have football sessions linked to maths learning. We have also had the privilege of being mascots at games, creating wonderful memories for the children. The opportunities that the football club has provided for our school have enhanced the children’s personal development and contributed to the school being judged outstanding by Ofsted (February 2024).”

Walking Football
“Walking football has been a game-changer for me, not just for my health and wellbeing but also because it is given me the chance to be part of the club community I’ve always supported. As a lifelong fan, it is incredible to feel connected to the club in a whole new way, not just from the stands but out on the pitch. The physical benefits are great—keeping active, improving my fitness, and boosting my overall health—but it is the sense of belonging that means the most. Being part of the club’s walking football team has brought new friendships, a shared sense of purpose, and the joy of representing the club I love. It’s not just about playing football; it’s about being part of something bigger, staying connected, and feeling like a valued member of the club family.”
